We wanted our entry to be a film that was unique to the Straight 8 competition, so we tried to make a positive out of the constraints of the rules and genre.

With picture and sound having to be recorded and supplied separately, a lot of entries end up being out of sync. This insight not only allowed us to create a film that had a funny misdirect and twist at its very core, it also helped the film to win the gold award at the awards presentation in Cannes.
